The best way to make fertilizer from food waste is to mix green and brown materials. In this way, it helps maintain the optimal carbon-to-nitrogen ratio along with proper oxygen and moisture levels, which are essential for a healthy decomposition process. To initiate the system, before putting food waste into the machine, start the composting process with a layer of sawdust. This foundational layer helps balance carbon and nitrogen levels. Next, introduce microorganisms to enhance the breakdown of organic matter, which plays a crucial role in decomposing complex organic compounds into simpler substances. The composting machine facilitates the decomposition process by periodically turning and aerating the mixture, ensuring a consistent supply of oxygen for the microorganisms.
